About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics document for a federal contract opportunity to procure a replacement storm water lift station pump at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. The procurement is identified as FA462026QA212 and is scheduled for March 2026.

The government seeks a Cornell Model #6NHTA-VM-7.5-8 brand name or equal storm water lift station pump to replace an inoperative unit (Serial Number: 65771 11.12) serving the SERE side of the base. The pump must feature an 11.12" impeller, all iron materials of construction, heat treated 420SS wear rings, 316SS shaft sleeve, tangential volute with counter-clockwise/left-hand rotation, single mechanical shaft seal faces, vertical close coupled configuration, and a 7.5HP/900rpm/200-208V/3 phase/60hz motor rated for premium industrial-grade efficient inverter-ready operation with standard enamel paint. One unit is required for delivery to 610 Twinning Avenue, Suite 380, Fairchild AFB, WA 99011. The document includes data plates from the existing inoperative pump (manufactured by Marathon Electric with specifications showing 7.5HP, 860 RPM, and 208V operation) and the Cornell pump for reference, establishing the baseline specifications for acceptable equivalent proposals.
