1. BACKGROUND:
22TRS has a complex and dynamic supply system required to continuously train and outfit an annual student body of 3,800. Maintaining accurate counts, inventories, distribution logs, and forecasts is timely and labor intensive. Automating the system and synchronizing with associated unit 336 TRSS system will enhance cost savings, accountability, documentation, and forecasting predictions.
2. OBJECTIVES:
Obtain an automated warehouse capability to track items, manage personnel, generate reports, improve security, reduce operating costs, increase workflow efficiency, and prevent FOD/lost assets. Additional features include ability to search record, manage items using a unique barcode, and ability to communicate with 336 TRSS management system.
3. REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum components of the BRAND NAME SMARTRACK Warehouse Management System include:
• Digital asset tracking hardware suite with lifetime perpetual software license
• 1 laptop or tablet with Windows 10/11 Pro operating system
• 1 UID 2D long range blue tooth combo scanner
• 1 Router
• 1 Laser printer
• 1 Back up data device
• 1 docking system
• 1 mouse
• 1 on board and external CAC reader
• 7 port HUB
• Direct printer application
• Desktop RFID Tag printer
• 8000 barcode tags
• 8000 RFID tags
• Windows server with 6 500 GB Hard drive with power back up device and external back up device
• 24 Port POE switch
• LAN Cables and POE devices
• Installation included with hardware, brackets, zips, corner mounts and initial training
• Basic lifetime warranty support on software
• 5 Year hardware warranty with repair or replacement in NMT 72 hours
• Reconfiguration, packing, and shipping included
Capabilities to be achieved with BRAND NAME SMARTRACK Warehouse Management System:
• Elimination of asset related FOD
• Restrict access to items that need maintenance to prevent occupational safety hazards
• Everything on a single screen o Issue/turn-in o Ability to enter quantity for multiples of same item o Control inventory as product is received and consumed o Alert when quantities are low and prompts for user to re-order o Alert for when asset turn-ins are overdue
• Equipment information by barcode o Current location o Maintenance schedule o Available inventory o Visual image of equipment o Cost of item o Manufacture/Vendor information
