Summary: Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act

This document is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, establishing prevailing wage rates for federal service contracts in Georgia (Wage Determination No. 2015-4497, Revision 31, effective December 3, 2025). The determination covers 13 Georgia counties: Banks, Chattooga, Fannin, Franklin, Gilmer, Gordon, Greene, Habersham, Jackson, Polk, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White.

The wage determination specifies hourly rates for 339 occupational classifications across 25 broad categories, including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation. Rates range from $10.67 per hour (Waiter/Waitress, Code 07260) to $54.00 per hour (Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Code 12210). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly), plus two weeks of paid vacation after one year and three weeks after eight years, and a minimum of 11 paid holidays annually. Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 impose additional requirements for paid sick leave and minimum wage rates of $13.30 per hour, with specific exemptions and applicability dates noted. The document includes footnotes for computer employees, air traffic controllers, weather observers, hazardous duty pay differentials (4-8 percent based on ordnance exposure), and uniform allowance provisions requiring reimbursement at $3.35 weekly or actual cost documentation.
