About this file
This document is an attachment titled "Response to Specifications" for an RFP (Request for Proposals) issued by the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Control Commission for a distribution center shipping supplies contract. The RFP covers two types of corrugated boxes, two types of partitions, polyethylene bundling shrink wrap and stretch film, and dunnage paper, with specific measurements and quantities for each item. The RFP applies to the state of Oregon, as well as the jurisdictions of Marion County and the city of Salem. Proposers are asked to indicate whether they can currently supply the requested goods, cannot supply them, or will be able to at a later date.
The document provides details on the packaging and usage of the various supplies, including how the shrink wrap and stretch film are utilized in the repacking and palletization processes. It also specifies the weights, roll sizes, and quantities per pallet or case for the different products. This RFP may result in multiple awards, as proposers do not need to be able to provide all the requested goods.

*Proposer does not need to have the ability to provide all Good(s) in the Specifications list. Please identify which Good(s) Propsoer is able to offer. This RFP may result in multiple Awards.
**Shrink Wrap is used in the Repack process in conjunction with the Shrink Wrap Heat Oven. The case leaves the Repack area and the machine loosely wraps the film around the case and cuts it via heated mechanical jaws.
Once the case is wrapped, it goes through the oven and the plastic film shrinks from the heat tightly around the case, making it sealed and secure.
***Stretch Film is used to wrap around whole pallets of product to keep it from shifting during transport. The film is manually wrapped multiple times around the stacked product, pulling (stretching) the roll as it wraps around.
When done, the film automatically wants to constrict itself back into its original state, thus puling tightly around the product making it stable.
YES - Proposer is currently able to supply Agency with Good(s) meeting these specifications.
NO - Proposer is currently NOT able to supply Agency with Good(s) meeting these specifications.
AT LATER DATE - Proposer is not able to currently provide Agency with Good(s) meeting these Specifications. But will be able to at a later date.
