STATEMENT OF NEED
Purchase Pavement Sealcoating Machine, Bldg. 385
1. SCOPE. Provide all material, equipment and transportation required for the purchase and delivery of one trailer-mounted SEALCOATING machine to Columbus AFB, MS. Unit is required to have the following features/specifications: a hose, spray wand and spray bar attachments, a minimum 575-gallon capacity storage tank, direct drive full-sweep agitator, compatibility with pavement sealer & sand mixture, 13 HP engine, or approved government equal.
2. REQUIREMENTS. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision needed to accomplish the tasks described in this statement of need. Under the provisions of the statement of need, the contractor shall accomplish the tasks described below.
3. DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES. The contractor is responsible for the following:
• TOW BEHIND PAVEMENT SEALCOATING MACHINE
575 Gallon Sealant Storage Tank, Air compressor-13 H.P. Honda Engine, Dual Diaphragm pump-inlet/outlet-1.5”, 75’ hose and spray wand, spray bar-88”, spray pavement sealers with sand loadings at 50 GPM, Direct Drive Forward Reverse Full-sweep Agitation with Rubber Wiper Blades, Two axles-6000lbs-electric braking system, or approved government equal. (Qty. 1)
• The contractor shall provide any manufacturer’s warranty to the Government.
The Government is responsible for the following:
• Coordinating base access privileges with the appropriate base-level authorities.
4. SCHEDULE. The contractor shall deliver as soon as possible to Columbus Air Force Base
