About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the manufacturing and delivery of Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) Interface Enclosure Assemblies. The SOW defines the contractor tasks and requirements for the management, manufacturing, and delivery of 30 units of the VDATS Interface Enclosure Assemblies. The enclosure assemblies are used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) that support the testing of aircraft line replaceable units (LRUs) and shop replaceable units (SRUs) for the Air Force. The SOW outlines the program and engineering management requirements, including coordination with the 556th Software Engineering Squadron (556 SWES) VDATS team and the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). It also specifies the delivery schedule, packaging, and shipping requirements, as well as the security and warranty provisions. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number FA813924Q0034, "VDATS Interface Enclosure Assembly - Alexsys 12348," issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center.

The Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) Automatic Test Station (ATS) supports the testing of aircraft line replaceable units (LRU)s and Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU)s for most of the warfighter capability in the Air Force. The 76th Software Engineering Group (76 SWEG)/556 Software Engineering Squadron (556 SWES) engineers and maintains Test Program Sets (TPS). The 556 SWES requires Enclosure Assemblies used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters (ITAs). The Enclosure Assemblies are used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters (ITAs). The enclosure assemblies are essentially a passthrough from the VDATS ATS to the UUT.

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines contractor tasks and requirements for management, manufacturing, and delivery of the VDATS Interface Enclosure Assembly. A technical data package with drawings and models for each item has been developed and contains the individual specifications for each subassembly. The requirement is to build each of these items per the supplied engineering drawings.

The objective of this effort is to award a single contract to provide 30 units of the Enclosure Assemblies.
