2.0 Background

The in-kind replacement of these tires, Michelin XSNOPLUS M&S 17.5R25, is due to the special rubber compound and aggressive lug design with added sipes provide maximum maneuverability in winter conditions and minimize the need for chains. The benefits include dramatic reduction in downtime: the Michelin all-steel casing design has less flats than traditional bias-ply tire and provide excellent wear life. The wide non-directional tread design makes this an ideal tire for year-round use.
