About this file
This document is a product specification sheet for an Aviation Mobile Power Converter (Power Cart) used for aircraft ground power application in hangars or on ramps during maintenance and inspection procedures.
The power converter must accept input of 208V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz with a maximum full load input current of 114A, utilizing a 50-foot input cable with 3-Phase Hubble Connector and IEEE C62.41 Category B surge protection. The unit must provide output power ratings of 115V L-N / 200V L-L, 3-phase, 400 Hz at 130 amps through a 30-foot AC output cable with a Molded Blackhawk Connector and aircraft safety interlock. Required features include AC input and output ON/OFF connect/disconnect current sensing devices, automatic input line monitoring, built-in maintenance diagnostic system (BITE), event logging, USB communication ports, emergency power shut-off, 18-inch hazard area clearance, voltage/current/frequency monitoring, elapsed time meter, sleep mode, voltage adjustment capability, and summary fault indicators. The unit must be mobile with solid core casters for both indoor and outdoor use, include input and output cable racks, and be supplied with operator and maintenance manuals.
