About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) detailing the requirements for repairing and reconditioning a high temperature hot water circulation pump at Malmstrom Air Force Base. The key tasks include inspecting the pump components, repairing or replacing the case, cover, adapter, wear rings, shaft, impeller, and bearing housing as needed, and upgrading the mechanical seal, wear rings, and throat bushing. The work must be performed by a company specializing in fluid handling and industrial API 610 pumping equipment. The contractor is required to provide documentation including a final work scope report, mechanical seal drawing, spare parts list, running clearances, air test results, and dynamic balance report. The SOW also lists the specific OEM replacement parts required. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for the heat plant circulation pump repair, with a detailed description matching the SOW requirements.
