SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION CHART

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

The contract is for the fipronil baiting of 1,400 acres of prairie dog colony. This acreage will be reached somewhere in Management Area 3.67. Should unforeseen circumstances arise such additional funding become available or higher priority prairie dog colonies plaguing out prior to the treatment of the primary colonies, the Forest Service may request the contractors to bait alternate colonies in addition to or instead of the identified primary colonies. All colonies are accessible by ATV or UTV.

The contractor is required to keep track of the acres that they have baited. The contractor will not be paid for any acres baited above what is identified in the contract. Prairie dog colony size can vary for what is identified on the maps due to colony expansion or contraction based on multiple variables including but not limited to disease, weather, reproductive success, predation, and grazing practices.

Detailed maps of individual colonies will be provided at a later date, however it is anticipated that locations will be limited to one or two areas within Management Area 3.67.
