Specifications Badlands National Park
Supply Continuous Panels for Boundary Fence
Contractor will be responsible for supplying and delivering the materials to complete the replacement of 100 continuous fence panels for the update of the Boundary Fence.
FOB Destination: Wall SD 57780 Delivery location will be to the construction Site, South of Wall SD. Please make arrangements to meet for delivery and or directions a minimum 3 business days in advance of delivery.
Directions to Bison Corrals from exit 110 Wall SD
• Take exit 110 off I-90 Wall.
• Head south on highway 240 for 1.5 miles.
• Take a right on Sage Creek Road.
• Veer left in 5.5 miles.
• Enter Badlands National Park at 9 miles.
• Veer right at 9.5 miles.
• Go through steel pipe gate to bison corrals at 10.5 miles.
• Travel a half mile to corrals.
Contractor will provide the following Materials:
1. Continuous Fence Panels: (Quantity 100)
• Panels will be 20 feet in length.
• Panels will be 7 Rail (Horizontal Bars)
• Panels will be 57 inches tall.
• Panels will be constructed with 1 ¼ inch Round Metal Rod
• Panels will have 6 Vertical ¾ inch Round Metal Rod Braces
• Minimum gauge steel to be uses is 14 gauge.
• Panels will be made from Steel with no paint or powder coating.
• Panels must be free from rust, holes, and gouges.
• Panels will come with 7 rail connectors to make panels “continuous”.
2. Clips/Fasteners: (Quantity 1000)
• Fasteners will be a minimum of 14 gauge.
• Fasteners will be made of steel.
• Fasteners will not be coated or painted.
