Statement of Work
Building 9 APHIS Small Animal Room Floor Coating Repair General Information 1.0 Scope of Work: The USDA, NCAH Building 9 located at 1920 Dayton Avenue, Ames, IA, has a 16-year-old Dudick epoxy floor coating that has a worn porous surface and a urethane cement base coat that is in good condition and needs to be recoated. We need to have the floor surface prepared to accept a new methyl methacrylate (MMA) coating with a 46 mesh white aluminum oxide traction coat on the new sealed floor surface in the Small Animal Rooms and a 60 mesh white aluminum oxide traction surface in the Clean Change, Shower and Dirty Change Rooms.
