Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics - FA4814TF168

CLIN 0001: MOTORCYCLE, STREET ENTRY‐LEVEL MODEL ‐ HONDA: (Rebel 300) 286cc/F.I. ‘’or equal”

To be considered “equal”, offered products must meet the following salient functional, physical and performance characteristics:

Street motorcycles include models that would be considered entry‐level motorcycles designed to be ridden by novice motorcyclists. They have normal street tires with a light tread pattern, standard brakes, and engines generally larger than 125 cc (7.6 cu in). They are designed to accommodate a more upright riding posture vice that of sport models.

250‐450 cc engine

Air or Liquid cooled engine

Carbureted or Fuel Injection fuel system (Fuel Injection is preferred).

Motorcycle will meet current government safety and emission standards; be equipped w/ manual transmissions and equipped with all DOT required safety equipment (mirrors/headlight(s)/ taillight/reflectors/DOT approved tires, and any other required safety equipment).

CLIN 0002: MOTORCYCLE, SPORT/PERFORMANCE MODEL ‐ HONDA: (CBR300R) 286cc/F.I. ‘’or equal”

To be considered “equal”, offered products must meet the following salient functional, physical and performance characteristics:

Sport motorcycles are considered the performance‐oriented category of motorcycles when compared to street models. They feature a lightweight frame, a more powerful engine, performance gearing, tires and brakes, and are designed with seating and handlebar positions that encourage a more aggressive “crouched” riding posture vice that of street models.

250‐450 cc engine

Air or Liquid cooled engine

Carbureted or Fuel Injection fuel system (Fuel Injection is preferred).

Motorcycle will meet current government safety and emission standards; be equipped w/ manual transmissions and equipped with all DOT required safety equipment (mirrors/headlight(s)/ taillight/reflectors/DOT approved tires, and any other required safety equipment).
