Attachment 1

Salient Characteristics The 47th Force Support Squadron has a requirement to purchase and have installed pool climbing wall.

· Deck mounted rock climbing wall attached to pre‐existing swimming pool

· Must be pre-assembled, full height

· Must support a minimum of 250 lbs

· Panel dimensions must be 5 Meters High x 3 Meters Wide

· Structure must be 304L stainless steel with epoxy coating (wipe clean surface)

· All panels must be beveled cut and polished on all edges, able to withstand UV and chlorinated environment

· All Panels must be made of clear, flat polycarbonate or similar erosion resistant material

· Panel bottom must be submerged to prevent gutter entrapment

· Climbing holds must be non-abrasive polyester resin with UV inhibitors, with soft backing to prevent rotation, in aquatic colors.

· Hand holds must be modular so they can be rotated and/or moved to predrilled locations.

· Design load testing to withstand 100 MPH wind loads

· Must have frame curve that hangs over the pool so that the natural reentry into water is feet-first, decent must be away from pool edge

· Please refer to attached gutter and pool drawings

· Secured to existing concrete pool with anchor bolts.

· Cement Anchors must be at embedded into the concrete by at least 2.75”

· There must be 4 anchor points per base unit (two in front, two in back)
