OMAX PUMP REPAIR
Requirements Document
For
704th Test Group/846th Test Squadron
22 July 2024
1.0 PURPOSE
The 704th Test Group’s (704 TG) mission is to be the premier provider of unique test and evaluation capabilities relevant to tomorrow’s warfighter through world-class people improving technical excellence, cost-effectiveness, and agility. The 846th Test Squadron (846 TS) is one of the units assigned as part of the 704 TG. The 846 TS’s primary test capability is the Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) where they utilize rocket powered sled trains to simulate flight like environments and scenarios with the control and recovery of a ground-based system.
The 846 TS uses a OMAX 80X WaterJet, serial number K511716, to cut complex rocket sleds, test track hardware and test articles. Recently a new 40/60 VFD pump was installed, and it is non-functional. The 846 TS needs a qualified technician to diagnose and repair wiring on the 40/60 VFD pump and perform a functional test.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 Initial Inspection and Repair
2.1.1 The contractor shall diagnose and repair existing wiring on the 40/60 VFD pump, serial number K511716 and functional check the machine to ensure the pump is returned to factory parameters and functionality.

1 Authorized OMAX technician will diagnose and make repairs to the pump VFD and perform functional test after repair by running pump for 1 hour continuous and make test cuts to ensure dual pump functionality and accuracy.
3.0 MILESTONES
The contractor shall complete repairs of 40/60 VFD pump and functionality check within 30 days ARO.
4.0 DELIVERABLES
The contractor shall perform at the 846 Test Squadron, Attn: Mark Goga at 1521 Test Track Road, Building 1178, Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico 88330.
