About this file

This document is an Industry Questionnaire for the Shaw AFB Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), issued by the 20th Contracting Squadron. The questionnaire seeks to identify capable and experienced businesses for design-build, sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, and minor construction projects at Shaw Air Force Base. The MACC has a potential total ceiling of $60,000,000 for a two-year duration, with individual project awards up to $2 million.

The 14-question document explores contractors' capabilities across multiple dimensions, including: managing geographically dispersed military projects, working in South Carolina's climate, performing in secure military facilities, multi-trade construction expertise, design capabilities, workforce flexibility, bonding/insurance capacity, and past project performance. Critical questions address the government's proposed acquisition strategy, such as technical acceptability with performance tradeoff, mandatory contractor participation in task order solicitations, and potential on-ramp contract provisions. The questionnaire is designed to help the government assess and select the most technically capable contractors for the MACC.
