About this file

This is a Specifications document for flooring material procurement for Yosemite National Park.

The contractor must supply all items listed on the Quote and Price Schedule (Attachment 01) or provide comparable alternatives with documented make, part number, and description. Items are organized into five bundles (A through E): EPBG, MABG, PROJECTS, VABG, and WABG. Each bundle must be wrapped, palletized, and delivered together as a complete unit to the NPS Warehouse at 5083 Foresta Rd, El Portal, CA 95318, with each bundle distinctly labeled. All quotations must be inclusive of shipping and handling costs with FOB destination terms.

Delivery is preferred within 30 days after receipt of order, with delivery hours limited to 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Contractors must schedule deliveries at least 48 hours in advance and note actual delivery dates on the SF-1449 form. Deliveries are not accepted on Fridays, weekends, or Federal holidays without prior NPS approval. Freight must be unloaded by the contractor; while a docking bay is available, items may require ground-level offloading. Contractors must account for existing travel restrictions including vehicle size limitations (vehicles over 45 feet prohibited), one-way controlled traffic 20 miles east of Mariposa, and potential road closures on Highway 41. These existing conditions cannot be cause for additional compensation claims.
