About this file

This is a Specifications document for a Lumber & Fasteners procurement for Yosemite National Park. The contractor must supply all items listed on the Quote and Price Schedule (Attachment 01) or provide comparable alternatives with equivalent brand names or equal specifications. If offering alternatives, the contractor must provide the item number, make, model, size, and description of the substitute product.

The procurement requires delivery of items organized into six bundles to two separate NPS locations: four bundles (A, B, C, D) to the NPS Warehouse at 5083 Foresta Rd, El Portal, CA 95318, and two bundles (E, F) to NPS at 9000 Lost Arrow Dr, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389. Each bundle must be wrapped and delivered as a complete unit with appropriate labeling designating the specific department and contact person. All quotes must be inclusive of shipping and handling costs with FOB destination terms. Preferred delivery is within 30 days after receipt of order, with the contractor required to specify the actual delivery date on the SF-1449 form. Delivery must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance and will not be accepted on Fridays, weekends, or Federal holidays unless pre-approved. The contractor is responsible for unloading freight, with accommodations available at a docking bay or ground-level offloading as needed. Offerors must account for current travel restrictions in the park, including vehicle size limitations and one-way controlled traffic due to rockslide repairs, and verify road conditions prior to hauling; these delays and restrictions are considered existing conditions and will not warrant additional compensation.
