About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to supply sodium hypochlorite and sodium carbonate to multiple utility systems throughout Yosemite National Park. The National Park Service seeks these chemicals, which are used in water and wastewater treatment and disinfection, for delivery to three locations: the El Portal Wastewater Treatment Plant, Yosemite Valley Utilities, and the Wawona Wastewater Treatment Plant. Sodium hypochlorite must be a 12.5% liquid solution and meet AWWA and NSF standards, while sodium carbonate must be dry and also meet AWWA and NSF standards. Historical annual quantities ranging from 3 to 28 drums of sodium hypochlorite and 3 to 100 pallets of sodium carbonate are provided for informational purposes. Deliveries must be made within ten days of order receipt.

Statement of Work
SOCIUM HYPOCHLORITE AND SODIUM CARBONATE
Yosemite National Park
I. Objective
Firm fixed price IDIQ contract for the supply and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite and Sodium Carbonate for multiple utility systems throughout Yosemite National Park.
II. Background
Sodium Hypochlorite and Sodium Carbonate are both used in the water and wastewater areas of treatment and disinfection of utility systems. These chemicals are used at 20+ water systems and 8+ wastewater systems throughout Yosemite. Because chemicals have a limited shelf life and to ensure strength, multiple deliveries to three locations will be required annually.
NOTE: The historical quantities below are for informational purposes only, and do not obligate the Government to order the same or similar quantities under this Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Nor do the historical quantities below imply that a similar proportion of supplies will be ordered in the future.
III. Material Requirements
Offerors shall submit a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) meeting the required applicable AWWA (American Water Works Association) and NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) standards for each chemical delivered with each order to the task order Technical Point of Contract or Contracting Officer’s Representative.
Sodium Hypochlorite-Liquid
Sodium Hypochlorite must meet AWWA Standard B-301-10 (Liquid Chlorine) and B- 300-10 (Hypochlorite) or most recent.
Sodium Hypochlorite must meet NSF-60 Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals.
Sodium Hypochlorite must be delivered at strength of 12.5% solution.
Chemicals cannot impart any characteristics that would cause a violation to drinking water or wastewater standards to finished product.
Sodium Carbonate-Dry
Sodium Carbonate must meet AWWA Standard B-201-13 or most recent.
Sodium Carbonate must meet NSF-60 Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals.
Chemicals cannot impart any characteristics that would cause a violation to drinking water or wastewater standards to finished product.
