About this file

This document contains a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) dictionary for an Air Route Surveillance Radar Version 4 Replacement project in Hawaii. The CWBS dictionary outlines the major elements required to develop a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence radar system, including a Prime Mission Product, antenna, radar electronics, software, integration efforts, testing, training, data, support equipment, and program management. Key elements of the radar system include receivers/exciters, signal and data processors, a transmitter, beam steering controllers, and inertial navigation systems. The CWBS dictionary provides a framework to track costs for elements such as antenna arrays, transmit/receive modules, radar housings, and electronic subsystems. It also covers testing, software development, training, data management, and integration of the radar system onto its platform.
