About this file
This document contains a Task Description Template and details of a related federal grant opportunity from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). The template provides guidance for applicants to outline specific tasks, subtasks, objectives, approaches, locations, responsible organizations, deliverables, intellectual property assertions, human/animal subjects research, and milestones for proposed projects. Applicants must complete the template to receive funding consideration under the ARPA-H Health Science Futures program. This program seeks groundbreaking solutions in areas like breakthrough technologies, transformative tools, and adaptable platform systems to dramatically improve health outcomes. Proposals should employ innovative approaches to enable revolutionary medical and healthcare advances. Acceptable topics include novel diagnostics and therapeutics for diseases like cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues. Excluded are incremental advances, clinical trials of developed products, or proposals about policy, education/training, or physical infrastructure. The deadline to submit solution summaries and proposals is not provided. If selected, awards will be administered under the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health federal grant program (CFDA #93.384), overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services.
