B. Additional Frequently Asked Question and Answer

Q: Given email limitations, are there any other methods for submitting an application?

A: It was bought to our attention that applicants were unable to upload their applications on www.grants.gov. After investigating this issue with grants.gov experts, we were informed that without a standard application package, applications could not be uploaded. Accordingly on December 7, 2012, ASHA issued amendment no. 4 to the FY2013 APS to reflect email as the new method of submission.

In response to amendment no. 4 there have been concerns regarding the limitations of email submission we worked with grants.gov experts to create an application package. Accordingly, amendment no. 5 was issued on January 10, 2013 to allow applicants to submit their applications by either email at ASHAFY2013APS@usaid.gov or via the grants.gov application package.

The information to be submitted remains the same only the manner of submission has changed.

Applications can only be submitted either via grants.gov or via email. Applicants can only use one method for submission.
