About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for Thunderstorm 24-4, an invitation-only field technology showcase focused on innovative expeditionary operations solutions. The RFI invites industry, academia, and government R&D organizations to submit applications and quad charts for consideration to participate in the event, which will take place 4-8 November 2024 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The RFI outlines the event's objectives and the types of capabilities of interest, including expeditionary command and control, enhanced mobility and awareness, and resilient logistics/point of need generation. Applicants must meet the formatting requirements, and the government will evaluate submissions based on relevance, technical maturity, and alignment with current/future operational needs. Selected participants will be responsible for delivering, installing, and operating their prototype technology during the event at their own expense. This RFI is not a solicitation for procurement or acquisition proposals, and no contracts will be awarded based solely on this announcement.
