Preserve the natural resources within the project boundaries and outside the limits of permanent work performed under this Contract in their existing condition or restore to an equivalent or improved condition upon completion of the work. Repair or restore to original condition landscape features scarred or damaged by equipment or operations. Obtain Contracting Officer's approval before repair or restoration. Confine construction activities to areas defined by the work schedule, drawings, and specifications. Federal

Acquisition Regulation clause 52.236-9 applies.

E. At or before Contract completion, obliterate all signs of temporary construction facilities such as haul roads, work areas, structures, foundations of temporary structures, stockpiles of excess or waste materials, and all other vestiges of construction. Temporary roads, parking areas, staging areas, and similar temporary use areas where excavation has been accomplished shall be graded in conformance with surrounding areas. Restore all disturbed areas to their original condition.

F. For all work in or over water habitats, provide a debris boom. Take precautions to preclude construction materials from entering the water and immediately remove any material that enters the water in the work area.

Report spills of any liquids into the water habitat and take steps to preclude spread or dissipation of spilled liquids. Contractor must have a spill response kit available.

1.06 EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES:

A. Borrow pits are not permitted on Government property.

B. Provide necessary controls to prevent visible or measurable erosion from leaving the construction site.

This report will be submitted to the regulatory agencies to satisfy permit requirements. At a minimum, the report will include calculated final dredging volume based on the pre and post dredge surveys, copies of all hydrographic surveys, maps of the dredging footprint, dates of commencement and completion of work, any noncompliance issues, required monitoring logs, environmental permitting compliance documentation, and the disposal location and operations of the dredged sediment. The Post-Dredge Report shall include:

1) Corps permit number.

2) Dredge episode number.

3) Dates of dredging commencement and completion.

4) A survey with accuracy to one-tenth foot that delineates and labels the areas dredged and the dredge depths.

5) Actual quantities dredged to the design depth, and actual quantities dredged to the overdepth limit.

Include calculations used to determine the volume difference (cubic yards) between the pre-dredge and post-dredge surveys and explain any variation in quantities greater than 15% beyond the estimated quantities or dredging deeper than is permitted. All surveys shall be accomplished by a licensed surveyor and signed by the contractor to certify their accuracy.

ARTIFICIAL OBSTRUCTIONS: The USCG anticipates debris such as, but not limited to, metal bands, pallets, pieces of broken cable, rope, hose, and broken piles. The
