About this file
This is an Appendix to a Department of General Services (DGS) controlled procurement contract, establishing the electronic transaction fee requirements for the Workiva for Audit Management Solution contract with the State of Maryland. The contract term runs from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027. The contractor is required to remit an electronic transaction fee based on all sales activity during the contract period, with payment and reporting obligations outlined in specific intervals following each reporting period.
The contractor must remit a one percent (1%) electronic transaction fee calculated on the gross invoiced amount, less any returns or credits, no later than forty-five (45) calendar days after the end of each reporting period. The fee shall be incorporated into the contract's unit prices and cannot be charged separately to customers or identified as a line item on invoices. Payment may be submitted via ACH transfer to the Comptroller's office at GADACH@marylandtaxes.gov with notation in the comments field as "DGS 1% Fee," or by check to the Department of General Services, Fiscal Services Division in Baltimore, Maryland. Simultaneously with payment, the contractor must submit a Monthly Usage Report documenting all contract sales via Microsoft Excel to dgs.statewidecontractsusagereport@maryland.gov using the designated template. Failure to timely and accurately remit the electronic transaction fees constitutes a material default under the contract. This appendix becomes effective January 2026.
