APPENDIX 2:

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Goal The Quality Improvement program is designed to ensure that MassHealth members receive high quality of care from CDR Hospitals. Periodically, the MassHealth Program may request data from the Contractor identifying quality improvement processes, positive outcomes, high patient satisfaction and cost-effective delivery of services. This submission requirement must be met by the Contractor as part of its response to the RFA in accordance with the submission requirements set forth in Section 4 of the RFA and Section 6 of the Contract.

III.

Annual Quality Improvement Projects

During the term of the Contract, EOHHS may develop additional quality improvement projects and requirements applicable to periodic quality improvement projects and will inform the Contractor about any tasks necessary for completion of such projects.
