About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a Z-Drive clutch replacement for the USCGC ANTHONY PETIT (WLM-558), a United States Coast Guard vessel. During engine break-in procedures, ship's force personnel observed propeller speed discrepancies and conducted internal and external inspections, which led to a recommendation for clutch replacement. The solicitation requires procurement of a specific Z-Drive clutch (Part Number: C680912-980CR, NSN: 200-07-4630), with a quantity of one unit to be shipped directly to the vessel in Ketchikan, Alaska.
The procurement is being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security's US Coast Guard, with an urgent shipping request. The SOW indicates the vessel is currently unable to meet full operational commitments due to the clutch issue. The replacement clutch must be configured in accordance with Coast Guard Technical Publication TP 3653 (July 2013) and is specifically for a Z-drive Model 1350-H. The solicitation number is 70Z08525Q12605, and the intended recipient appears to be Thrustmaster, based on the notice of intent to award.
