About this file

Collier County has issued a Quick Quote (QQ) for Animal Cremation Services through its Domestic Animal Services Division. The solicitation seeks a vendor to provide weekly cremation services for animal remains, with the ability to pick up more frequently or on-call as needed. The contract term is for one fiscal year, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for July 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm, with online access provided. Vendors must submit questions by July 14, 2025, at 3:00 pm and final responses by July 24, 2025, at 3:00 pm through the county's online bidding system.

Based on the current year's average, Collier County anticipates spending approximately $6,000 for these services during the contract period. The vendor will be responsible for picking up animal remains from designated freezers, transporting them to an authorized cremation facility, and ensuring proper identification and handling. The award will be made to the vendor with the lowest quote per cadaver, with all pricing to remain firm for the contract term. Vendors must meet specific insurance requirements, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability coverage, with Collier County named as an additional insured. The county emphasizes the importance of professional conduct, safety, and respectful handling of animal remains throughout the service.
