About this file
This document is an Amendment One to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the South Carolina Adjutant General's Office for grounds maintenance services at three military facilities in Greenville, South Carolina. The solicitation covers maintenance for Army Aviation Support Facility #2, Facility Maintenance Support #1, and Greenville Armory, requiring bi-weekly mowing from May through October. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, and materials to maintain the properties, including grass cutting to a 2-inch height, debris removal, edging, and trimming. The bid submission deadline is 04/23/2025 at 10:00 AM, with an anticipated contract award posting on 04/28/2025. The contract period is expected to run from 05/01/2025 to 04/30/2026, with work to be performed Tuesday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, excluding state and federal holidays.
Contractors must carry a Commercial General Liability policy with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate coverage, along with Workers Compensation insurance. The solicitation includes separate line items for each facility, with 10 service events anticipated during the May-September period. Bidders must have valid identification for facility access and are responsible for safety precautions, property damage repair, and maintaining necessary licenses and permits. The procurement encourages competitive bidding and includes provisions for minority business participation. Invoicing will be done monthly via email, with detailed documentation required. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the comprehensive service specifications suggest a significant contract value that demands high-quality, consistent grounds maintenance across multiple military facilities.
