Responses to the questions that were submitted by the designated date and time on the cover page.
1. Herbicides/Fertilizers: Are there any restrictions or approved lists for products used on campus grounds (e.g., specific active ingredients or brands permitted/prohibited)?
Currently, there are no prohibited fertilizers or herbicides. However, we would need to be provided with SDS Sheets for any chemicals you plan to use on the site prior to using them and we will review them at that time.
2. Campus Access Coordination: Will a single PTC representative coordinate access across all eight campuses, or should we plan to coordinate individually with each site?
Access Coordination will be done with the following people at the locations they are responsible for with
Wayne Shirley reserved for emergency needs…see list below:

Name: Craig Mayo (Greenwood Campuses)
Name: Billy Whitmer (McCormick, Saluda, Edgefield, and Abbeville Campuses)

3. Staff Screening: Are security or background checks required for personnel working on campus?
If so, what standards/documentation and lead times apply?
A pre-employment background check that would cover the last 10 years is the standard that we would recommend.
4. Project Kick-Off: Will there be a kick-off meeting prior to the start of services in October 2025?
If yes, please advise on the anticipated date, location, and required attendees.
Once the new landscaping contract(s) are established, we will immediately set up meeting(s) to get to know each other and discuss the next steps prior to work beginning.
5. Mulch/Plant Materials: Will mulch or plant materials be provided by the college, or should they be included in the pricing?
PTC will provide ground cover (Pine Straw, Mulch, etc.) and plants as determined. The ground cover / plants will be located either on the Greenwood Campus or at a local vender. The contractor will be responsible for loading, hauling / transporting and distributing the ground cover / plants.
