About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the General Services Office at the American Embassy in Seoul, Korea on August 27, 2026, for RFQ #19KS7026Q0057 concerning the Renovation of the American Diplomacy House. The amendment extends the question submission deadline to September 2, 2026, and the proposal due date to September 11, 2026. The amendment revises three sections of the Statement of Work (Section B) to modify contractor responsibilities for specific renovation tasks.
The modifications address three work activities: (1) Carpet Remediation (B.2.3.14) requires the contractor to install new carpet tiles in areas previously occupied by bookshelves to create a continuous finished flooring surface, with carpet tiles provided as Government-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (GFCI) items by the U.S. Embassy; (2) Large-Scale Wall Graphics and Official Department of State Seal Printing (B.2.3.16) requires the contractor to design, produce, and install large-scale wall graphics with design drafts and material specifications submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval, plus execution of the official U.S. Department of State seal using a vertical wall printer with a fixed diameter of 1,200 mm (no separate design submittal required for the seal); and (3) Signage (B.2.3.24) requires the contractor to fabricate and install new signage identical in size and matching the design of existing units, with final design and layout submitted to the COR for approval.
