About this file

This document is an amendment to the Solicitation 5400027017 issued by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health for the Berkeley MHC Grounds Maintenance contract. The amendment revises the scope of work, which includes mowing, edging, and maintaining the grounds of the Berkeley MHC facility once a week during the growing season, removing debris, trimming and pruning shrubs, applying fertilizers and treatments, and replenishing pine straw beds. The solicitation has a pre-bid site visit scheduled for June 6, 2024, and offers are due by June 25, 2024 at 3:00 PM. The award will be posted on June 27, 2024.

The contract requires the successful bidder to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to maintain the grounds. Vendors are cautioned to carefully review the preferences and requirements to qualify for in-state or subcontractor preferences. The contract will be awarded to a single, distinct legal entity, and the contractor must have an in-state office to claim certain preferences.
