About this file

This document is Amendment #9 to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Maryland Department of General Services Office of Procurement and Logistics for a Statewide COVID-19 Testing Products contract. The amendment clarifies and modifies the IFB, including changes to the functional areas, the number of awards, and the required specifications for the COVID-19 test products. The contract will award up to 10 contracts in each of the two functional areas: Functional Area 1 for at-home COVID-19 tests and Functional Area 2 for clinically-observed COVID-19 tests. Bidders may bid on one or both functional areas, but must bid a single test product for all four years per functional area.

The amendment removes references to Functional Area 3 for COVID-19 serology tests and updates the required specifications for the PCR, molecular, antigen, and rapid point-of-care COVID-19 tests. The amendment also updates the eMMA Pricing Tab to remove the lines related to Functional Area 3. The contract term and other key details remain unchanged from the original IFB.
