The following revisions are hereby incorporated into solicitation SPE2DX-20-R-0001:
Statement of Work, Section 1, paragraph E. Specialty pharmaceuticals (page 25) is amended to the following:
Specialty items are defined as medications used to specifically treat chronic, rare and/or complex diseases which meet at least 4 specialty characteristics. These seven (7) characteristics include:
initiated/maintained by a specialist; generally injectable and/or not self-administered; requires special handling in the supply chain; price exceeds $6,000 per year; distribution through non-traditional channels (i.e. REMS); requires extensive monitoring of therapy and/or patient counseling or ; requires patient payment/ reimbursement assistance.
Statement of Work, Section 7, paragraph F(9). Order Placement/Delivery (page 41) is amended to the following:
9. Delivery of Emergency Orders. The contractor shall deliver all emergency orders to the TPharm ordering facility’s receiving location within 6 hours following receipt of the order.
Pharmaceuticals which require drop shipment from the manufacturer or items in a specialty distribution channel shall be excluded from the 6-hour delivery requirement. The NPV shall make every effort to expedite emergency orders for pharmaceuticals that require a drop shipment or are in a specialty distribution channel.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
