About this file

This is Amendment #1 to a Request for Quote issued by the SC Department of Natural Resources for landscaping and maintenance services at three Abbeville boat landings. The solicitation, numbered 5400021474, seeks a contractor to provide grounds maintenance including mowing, sediment removal, debris management, and sign replacement. The original offer submission deadline is June 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM, with questions due by June 2, 2021 at 12:00 noon directed to Procurement Officer Andy Bowman. No pre-bid conference or site visit is scheduled. Award notification will be posted on June 10, 2021 at www.procurement.sc.gov. Offerors must submit one hard copy via mail, FedEx, UPS, or through the SCEIS portal system and agree to hold their offer open for a minimum of 90 calendar days following the opening date.

Amendment #1 clarifies equipment and scheduling requirements based on vendor inquiries. A front-end loader with rubber tires or tracks is required for sediment removal, with approximately 10-15 cubic yards removed annually. The awarded contractor is responsible for procuring replacement signs subject to SCDNR approval of shop drawings. Trimmed limbs and woody debris may remain on site. The amendment establishes a mowing schedule of every two weeks from May through October and every three weeks from November through April, superseding conflicting schedules in the original solicitation documents. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
