About this file
This is Amendment #1 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB #5400027971) issued by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) for the provision and delivery of limestone to multiple locations. Sealed bids must be submitted by March 4, 2025, at 10:00 am EST, either as one hard copy to SCDNR's physical or mailing address, or through the SCEIS portal system. Questions were due by February 21, 2025, at 12:00 noon EST. The award will be posted on March 4, 2025, and bidders must hold their offers open for a minimum of 90 calendar days after the opening date. No pre-bid conference is scheduled for this solicitation.
The amendment addresses two clarifying questions regarding the weight of materials and delivery locations. It specifies that limestone weighs approximately 80 pounds per bushel, and oyster shells (referenced in a separate solicitation) weigh 55 pounds per bushel. The amendment confirms that delivery locations are listed in the scope of work. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
