About this file

This document is Amendment 1 for Request for Bid (RFB) 2025-UWEAU-00918, issued by the University of Wisconsin system for construction services across multiple campuses. The amendment provides critical clarification for potential bidders, specifically addressing the contract structure. The key detail revealed is that bidders will submit an hourly rate for services, and once awarded, work can be ordered through either time and material estimates or firm quotes. The amendment mandates that all bids submitted prior to this amendment must be resubmitted to be considered complete, emphasizing the importance of incorporating the new information.

The amendment focuses on a single bidder question regarding the project's scope and contract type, which the university clarifies as a per-hour rate contract with flexibility in work order methods. While the document is brief, it signals an open and transparent procurement process that allows potential contractors to understand the exact nature of the service requirements before submitting their bids. The amendment does not provide additional details about budget, specific campus locations, or exact service requirements beyond the hourly rate structure, but it represents a critical step in the bidding process by providing official clarification to potential bidders.
