Amendment 01

The purpose of this amendment # 01 is to clarify the RFP requirements by responding to questions submitted. Unless specifically noted, all other terms remain unchanged.

1) Question: Is the LIMS system going to be GFE? If not and it is to be purchased by the contractor, is there a specific LIMS system the government want the contractor to utilize for this work?

Answer: The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) will not be Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The LIMS system will need to be an IBM-PC based compatible Operating System to support data interchange with an information system (data format specifications will be specified by NIDA).

2) Does the Technical Proposal cost summary need to be filled out for the Base Period and Option Periods of the base contract, or does it need to also include the optional quantities 1 through 12 portions of the proposal?

All options inclusive.

3) Could NIDA confirm the exact anticipated start date? The RFP currently only says July 2022. Should we assume July 1 or some other date?

The current contract expires on July 08, 2022. You can assume July 09, 2022 as a new contract start date.
