Request for Proposal No. AHRQ-17-10004 Amendment 6 April 12, 2017
Response to Second Round of Proposal Questions
Thank you for your interest in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Below is a key to the responses to the questions found on the following page:
• A response to the question is provided - A response/answer is given if clarification is necessary, but the response does not require an amendment to the RFP.
Request for Proposal AHRQ-17-10004
1. The revisions to the RFP mention that the SRC will track approximately 50 topic nominations and provide medical librarian support for no more than 25 topic nominations. What is the work expected for the 25 or more topic nominations that do not receive medical librarian support?
AHRQ projects about 25 topic nominations will not require a formal search of primary studies for the assessment of feasibility because they will not fulfill other EHC Program selection criteria, such as appropriateness, importance or duplication.
2. Regarding Virtual Meetings: As the organizer of virtual meetings, does the SRC need to allow for provision of cost in the Business Proposal for the following:
providing a software package or subscription service, per user login fees for conferencing services, additional technological needs, or CME credits for participants? Is there a specific software or hosting platform that AHRQ requires for virtual meetings? If so, and the provision of CME credits is expected, does the software provide tools for evaluating learning objectives for obtaining CME credits?
The SRC is not required to include in the business proposal: the software package or subscription service or per user login fees for conferencing.
AHRQ has a Cisco Webex Enterprise account, which does allow tools such as polling, recording, chatting through the webex, but does not include a tool for evaluating learning objectives for CME. CME credits should not be considered in the business proposal.
3. Is it permissible or appropriate to include letters of support in our response to the RFP for AHRQ-17-10004, and if so, which section of the proposal should they be located?
Letters of support are not required. If the offeror chooses to provide them, they shall count towards the 30 pages allotted for the technical proposal.
