Special Notice to all Contractors U.S. Small Business Administration has recently released changes to:

The Table of Small Business Size Standards Small business size standards are matched to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. These new size standards are effective as of February 26, 2016.

What does this do for the contracting community?

· Increase small business size standards for 209 industries in NAICS Sector 31-33, Manufacturing.

What this means to all contractors seeking to conduct business with the Federal Government.

· SBA estimates that about 1,250 additional firms will become small because of revised size standards for the 209 industries in NAICS Sector 31-33.

· Allows for businesses to compete fairly with others of a similar size or structure.

· Allows smaller organizations to compete based on SBA guidelines where other larger organizations may have dominated the requirements.

A copy of the Size Standard and NAICS Code information from the Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements (MSCP) including a comparison of the previous Size Standards and new changes to the Size Standards is attached for your convenience.

The Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurement (MSCP) has been revised to include the Size Standard changes to the NAICS codes. The current MSCP can be found on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) website at Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements .

Additional information can be found on Small Business Administration website.
