About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division at Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland, Texas, for market research and planning purposes only. The RFI seeks information on commercially available AI solutions comparable to or exceeding AskSage capabilities that can operate securely within Department of Defense environments, particularly at Impact Level 2 (IL2) classification levels. The Government is interested in alternatives that provide secure access to multiple Large Language Models, generative AI chat and assistance, document analysis and summarization, content generation, data analysis, workflow automation, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, API integration, and AI-enabled productivity capabilities while meeting DoD cybersecurity, data protection, identity and access management, and information-assurance requirements.

Respondents must complete three worksheets addressing: (1) alternative solutions similar to AskSage, including enterprise, cloud-managed, or open-source editions with comparative analysis; (2) alignment with specific capability requirements such as natural-language task specification, conversational refinement, autonomous multi-step task execution, tool orchestration, human approval controls, code and terminal execution, artifact creation, and parallel agent execution; and (3) pricing information including transition and training costs, monthly/annual pricing plans, volume discounts, and contract terms of up to five years (base year plus four one-year options). Respondents must provide contact information, company identification, CAGE/DUNS codes, and details on FedRAMP or DoD authorization status, supported deployment models, data handling protections, model availability, technical support, scalability, and licensing structures. No submission deadline, award date, or contract vehicle is specified as this is solely for market research; responses are voluntary and will not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
