The SOW specifies requirements for a 384 square-foot modular office structure with 9-foot walls, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and doors. It also includes an option to add a 192 square-foot expansion. The delivery and installation timeline is 90-120 days. The contract will be a firm-fixed price award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror under a 100% Small Business set-aside. Statement of Work for FY24 CRG AGE/PP Shop – Designated Rest Area Installation Joint Base McGuire‐Dix‐Lakehurst

1. General:

The Aerospace Ground Equipment and Power Production (PP) consolidated work center maintains the Group’s life support equipment indoors without a proper HVAC system. This produces a hazardous work environment riddled with diesel exhaust and extreme low and high temperatures. The current work center does not possess the ability to separate the rest area from the maintenance area and therefore cannot support proper work-rest cycles per DAFI 48-151 Ch.3 Table 3.1 Work/Rest Times & Fluid Replacement Guide. Additionally, it violates OSHA standard 1920.141 (g) (1) and 1920.141(g)(2) and increases the risk of injury or in the worst possible case, loss of life. The plan is to build a self-standing, contained, rest-area able to accommodate HVAC systems and power for the members to utilize during their work-rest cycles. The modular rest-area would be 384 sq-ft and stand 9 ft height.

2. Objectives:

We need to contract a local company to come in and install prefabricated walls and ceiling within the southwest corner of the Bldg 3403 Rm 111. This area needs to be enclosed to provide an adequate environment to implement proper work rest cycles as well as separate the airborne particulates from the maintenance area from the rest/break area.

3. Scope of Work:

The company will coordinate procurement and install all structural electrical, HVAC, lighting, and doors on the structure. Final electrical hookup to power source to be performed by base civil engineering/customer.
