The purpose of this amendment is to correct and provide an updated LOP table. This amendment also provides updated maps of the project area.

See the corrected LOP Table on page 2 of this Amendment. This table supersedes all other LOP information contained in this solicitation.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Denten-Jankman IRSC LOP Table

Contract Item or Area Description Description of Restriction

ALL CONTRACT AREAS Operations may occur when soil is dry; that is, soil moisture in the upper 8 inches is not sufficient to allow a soil sample to be squeezed and hold its shape, or will crumble when the hand is tapped. Winter operations may occur only when the ground is frozen to a depth of 5 inches’ or snow depth is at least 18” or is compacted by equipment to 8”

ALL CONTRACT AREAS All Biomass (Grn Bio Cv) material shall be cut, skidded and decked to the landing within 30 days after the last saw log has been removed within that particular subdivision.

Subdivisions 30A, 39, 97, and 156 California Spotted Owl(CSO) Limiting Operating Period (LOP): No operations from March 1 through August 15

Subdivision 51A,51B,149,150,152, southern section of 153, 154, and

Road 23N33A

Raptor and Red Tailed Hawk Limiting Operating Period(LOP): No operations from March 1 through August 15

Subdivision 136 Bald Eagle LOP: No operations from November 1 through August 31.

Skid trails shall be placed 300 feet away from Site Specific Protection Area designated on Contract Area Map, with approval from Contracting Officer’s

Representative.

Subdivisions 39, 89B, 97, 139, and road 24N55 and spurs.

Use of temp road and existing skid trail for unit 139

Northern Goshawk (NGO) LOP: No operations from February 15 through

September 15.

Temp road and skid trail designated on Sale Area Map will be used for unit

139 during operations due to NGO.

Haul Route No Haul during Lost and Found Bike Race in the month of May during the life of the contract, date to be determined.

Subdivision 89B Dry conditions; conduct ground based harvest operations only when the upper

8 inches of soil is essentially dry. For this measurement, soil is defined as dry when no portion of the top 8 inches can be molded by hand compression and hold that shape when the hand is tapped.

Wet conditions; conduct ground based operations when the ground is frozen to a depth of 5 inches, or snow depth is at least 18 inches or is compacted by equipment to 8 inches.
