3.0 SCOPE OF WORK:
The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary for the accomplishment of the contract project and such required service shall be in accordance with the requirements as described herein and on attached contract documents.
3.1 Background: The USDA/DKI-PBARC located at 64 Nowelo St. Hilo Hawaii requires the turnkey retrofit of controllers and update site to Delta Controls Version 3.40 to include all associated hardware and accessories.
3.2 Contractor shall install all equipment, materials and labor to retrofit the BACnet DDC
(Direct Digital Control) system controllers for the chiller plant and AHU (Air handling
Units)
3.2.1 Contractor shall provide the following equipment
3.2.1.1 1-ea Delta Rack mount server computer with 4 hard drives
3.2.1.2 1-ea Delta Controls Upgraded software package. Version 3.40
3.2.1.3 1-ea Delta Controls System Manager Controller for the chiller plant
3.2.1.4 2-ea Delta Controls System Controllers for the chiller plant
3.2.1.5 1-ea Delta Controls System Manager Controller for AHU L1.1
3.2.1.6 2-ea Delta Controls System Controllers for AHU L1.1
3.2.1.7 1-ea miscellaneous control panel components as required
3.2.2 Contractor will provide the following services/labor
3.2.2.1 Set up server and new controllers in house to include program and test.
3.2.2.2 Redesign the graphics and link the points in house.
3.2.2.3 Remove and replace existing controllers with new controllers at our location
3.2.2.4 Upgrade site to version 3.40
3.2.2.5 Test and check system at site and verify that the system upgrade is working properly.
3.2.2.6 Provide onsite technical training to facility personnel in the use and operation of the new upgraded DDC system.
3.2.2.7 All work will be performed during normal work hours.
3.2.3 Contractor shall provide technical assistance, system training, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair services as required. All necessary repairs shall include a detailed repair quote. In the event of a system failure, the contractor shall have the system controls back on line within 24 hours.
3.4 Construction shall comply with the requirements of ARS Facilities Design Standards Manual 242.1, ARS Energy Management Plan 134.2 and all other applicable federal, state and local code requirements as well as current industry standards, (i.e. UBC, UPC, NFPA, UL, ASTM, ACI, NEC, NEMA. etc,) and health and safety codes, in effect at the time of contract award.
