Vendor Questions for AG-82B1-S-10-0470

1. Item 1 - ask for 3.5" .035 markers - are these 3.5" x 3.5" Triangular

2. Item 2 - ask for 9" .125 markers - are these 9" x 9" square? Triangular

3. Item 3 - ask for 18" .125 markers - are these 18" x 18" square? Triangular

4. This solicitation lists "HDP Trail Markers- 3 colors, 1 sided". I assumed we would use the 3/4" forest service brown/cream/brown HDPE for this, but thought I ought to confirm this is what you meant by "3 colors".

Three colors are used for signage applications: 1. Black 2. Darker brown is equivalent to PMS # 469. 3. Lighter brown is equivalent to PMS # 4645. For printed material, two colors are used: 1. Black and 2. PMS # 469 at 100% for the darker brown and the same color at 30% for the lighter brown.

5. The solicitation also states, "(VI) Detailed description of requirements is included in attached statement of work and exhibits." I found no Exhibit attached to the solicitation site, only an RFQ. Did you mean to refer to EM 7100-15 or provide something different? See attached marker photo and the auto tour sign photo.

6. What is the color of the HDPE? See attached photos/specs

7. Do you have a picture of the desired Trail Markers? Attached

8. What are the sizes on items number 0001, 0002 and 0003. Only one size number was stated on the bid request. The fact that the markers are triangular should answer this.

9. Also, I wanted to confirm the 12/31/2011 delivery date. Need by date, can be shipped anytime.

10. I also would like to know once project is awarded – and if we finish fabrication of all signs earlier let’s assume by December 2010 - can they be shipped to you right away? Does department of agriculture have facility for storage? They can be shipped anytime, we have storage facilities.
