Pre-Bid meeting Questions
Question: Are subcontractors required to have a DUNS number and be registered in Central Contracting
Registration Database?
Answer: No, only the prime contractor is required to have a DUNS number and be registered in Central
Contracting Registration Database.
Question: Can a generator be used at the site?
Answer: Yes, the project is not in a wilderness area.
Question: Are horizontal rails to be welded on the existing railing on the observation deck?
Answer: Yes, see plans page 4 of 8 note number 8.
Question: Will any work be performed on the garage door?
Answer: Yes, see plans page 3 of 8 note number 2.
Question: Does the Forest Service want to salvage any of the demolished material?
Answer: No, all demolished material shall be legally disposed of off National Forest Lands.
Question: Is the garage concrete apron to be replaced.
Answer: No, the spalled concrete will be repaired, see plans page 3 of 8 note number 10.
