• Page 3, item 6, 2nd bullet states that vendors shall submit a “statement of capability to perform the required services” Question: Should this statement include descriptions of how we support the items listed in Section 2.3, Scope on p.5?
Or, should it include the information requested on p.18, “Technical Capability,” which asks for relevant project experience for a minimum of 3 projects?
Or, should we address both the Scope and Technical Capability sections here?
Please address both the scope and technical capability sections.
• Page 3, item 6, 2nd bullet states that vendors shall submit “two past performance references” Question: Should these two performance references be selected from the 3 projects requested on p.18, “Technical Capability”?
The past performance references can be from the three projects asked for on page 18, or other projects.
• Page 5, Section 2.3, item 2 states the requirement to house 15-20,000 digital images.
Question: Can you please indicate the storage space needed for these images in terms of gigabytes/terabytes?
We are currently utilizing an OCLC ContentDM site license with an item and storage limit. The current storage limit is 40GB and 10,000 images. To increase that limit to 15,000 images we’d probably need an additional 5-10 GB.
Regarding section 2.4 on page 6, can you please confirm or correct our understanding that the initial period of performance is intended to cover only the implementation and migration, and therefore
Option Year One comprises the software subscription which begins when the library is live with the software?
Your understanding is correct. We do not need the other services to begin until June 1, 2017.
• Page 5, 2.2, NWRC Location – This item states: “Most of the migration and service work can be performed offsite. Contractor shall perform at least one in-person staff training on site.”
Question: A typical installation includes two days of on-site workflow consulting. Is the library interested in on-site workflow consulting, migration and service work, or general system training?
(Or a combination of these?)
The library wants just the system training.
