Question on expenses for archeological records searches: Will the Contactor(s) have to conduct and incur expenses for an archeology records search at a California Historical Records Information System Information Office?
Answer: The Contractor will not be responsible for any costs associated with an archeological records search at an Information Office. When a records search is necessary, the expense will be paid by NRCS.
Question: What form do I use and to what address must I mail my proposal?
Answer: Mail the Standard Form 33 along with other required proposal information to the following address:
USDA NRCS
ATTN: CHANDA SOW, CONTRACT OFFICER
200 N. HIGH STREET, ROOM 522
COLUMBUS, OHIO 43215 – 2418
All offers must be received by the closing date. An amended SF-33 can be found at www.fbo.gov.
Question: Can an RPF use other non RPF employees for completing task orders and providing the IDIQ services?
Answer: The IDIQ contract is for services to be provided by Registered Professional Foresters (RPF). It is a contractual requirement and NRCS’s expectation that RPFs will implement and be directly involved in all requested services. NRCS also expects that supervised non RPF employees may assist the RPF in completing less technical, minor aspects of the services. At all times the RPF is responsible for the work done under this contract by non RPF employees.
