A: We will refer your question to the Contracting Officer, please check the FedBizzOpps website for updates before you submit your quote.
2. Q: Is hydroseeding allowed? If yes, will you provide the required mix.
A: Yes. Yes, it is the following:

4. Q: Do all trees have to be grubbed if they are within the 20 foot area to be cleared?
A: Yes, trees within the 20-foot area specified in the contract to be cleared will also need to be grubbed (as it states in the contract) because the roots would negatively affect the stability of the crossing, since they typically stretch far out and down from the trunk of the tree.
5. Q: Do you have a specific location for disposal of trees?
A: As stated in the contract specifications, trees must be placed in adjacent woods, but in such a manner as to not impede traffic or water flow. Also, the trees must be placed on the upland areas, out of the wetland. Trees shall be placed close to where they are felled. Trees shall not be stacked so high as to become a fire hazard or a falling threat.
6. Q: Is there an alternative route to the site, other than crossing the landowner’s narrow wooden bridge?
A: Yes, we will provide an amendment to the contract which outlines other options for site access, as this bridge cannot be used during construction.
