Questions Asked and Answers:
1) How accessible are the sites if contractors want to go look at them on their own?
Answer: Items 1 (Pinewoods Recreation Area), 3 (Davis Trust Property), 4 (Upper Bateman Property), 8 (Kofal Property) and 9 (Roby Lake Area) are located behind Forest Service (FS) locked gates. These sites are accessible by foot travel (some at extensive distances and through pastures) with the following exception:

2) Can any of the wells be closed by methods other than those listed in the contract as long as the closure methods are approved by DNR?
Answer: The closure methods included in the contract were obtained from DNR. Item 1 (Pinewoods Recreation Area) and Item 6 (Shell Knob Recreation Site) are non community public wells. Letters from DNR concerning the approved closure methods of these wells will be included in the contract, for reference, per an amendment .
3) Item 6 (Shell Knob Recreation Site) has an existing structure over the well. What all is to be removed at that site?
Answer: Remove the pump, slab and building.
4) Will the power be turned off at the sites?
Answer: The homestead sites have been abandoned for 10+ years and should not have any power hooked up. However, the contractor will be responsible for making sure the power is turned off at each site.
